BLOOD DONATION PROGRAMME HELD AT AUST

A day long Voluntary Blood Donation program was jointly organized by Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) and the largest Blood Club of Bangladesh, “Sandhani Blood Club” and it was held at AUST campus on 16.11.11 from 10AM to 4PM. Total 26 bags of blood were donated by the students and other employees of AUST.  A number of Dhaka Medical College & AUST students voluntarily conducted and patronized the program. Mr. M. Abul Hossain, Advisor of Students’ Welfare & Dr. Ahmad Munir Hussain , Medical Officer, AUST extended their full support to  the program. Medical Officer & Dr. Ahmad Munir Hussain expressed his good wish for the task of Voluntary Blood Donation program of “Sandhani Blood Club”. The office secretary of “Sandhani Blood Club” of Dhaka Medical College unit Mesbah ul Islam Chowdhury said, we are charmed to see the cooperation of AUST authority and students. The students of AUST are really very friendly. He also thanked Prof. Dr. A.M.M. Safiullah, Vice-Chancellor of AUST, M. Abul Hussain, Advisor of students’ welfare and Dr. Ahmad Munir Hossain, Medical officer and to permit them to organize the blood camp in AUST. Mr. Navid Noor Evan from “Sandhani Blood Club” of Dhaka Medical College unit said we will try to respond for AUST students when they require any help.
